Here you can find a selection of the wallpanels that I make; I call them Superficial art.

The work reveals itself with light and shadow cast on the various depth of the lines. I induce questions from the viewer by intentionally leaving all maginations possible with figures that are twisted and turned, inside and out, open and closed all at the same time.

Hi!

My name is Jord, I´m a designer/maker from the Netherlands, currently living and working in Sweden.

Leaving all external stimuli aside, I solely focus on the process of creating; to naturally explore lines, shapes, materials, and colors through my own technique and style. I build abstract and organic pathways, both on wooden panels with canvas and on paper, portraying non-figurative forms that linger in my mind.

I play with the perception of macro and micro view of these forms, leaving final scale up to the viewer.
