With its straight lines, this work titled “Arcty” has come together as a result of my pen studies into sharp geometries and shapes. Even though the shape is almost flat in the plane, the viewer can observe perspective and spaciousness. The viewer might discover architectural references, as well as fictive constellations, or you might get lost in the work because the scale of the non-figurative shape is unclear. The lines are enhanced and pressed with a cotton canvas on a wooden panel with a special technique I developed.
